The second annual TexMex Showdown is coming back to Cycle Ranch. Last year we saw heated battles out on the track as talent from across Texas and all over Mexico faced off at the premier facility. In 2023, when racing ended The Texan's emerged just 12 points ahead of The Mexican pilots.

2024 stands to be an even bigger show as a $5000 pro-purse is on the line at this  ProAm Event.

This one-of-a-kind event brings together riders from both sides of the border to compete for awards and bragging rights. With a variety of classes for all skill levels, there's a spot for everyone at the TexMex Showdown.

Not only will you have the chance to show off your riding skills, but you'll also get to experience the thrill of competing against top-level riders from both Texas and Mexico. This is your chance to make a name for yourself in the motocross world and prove that you're a force to be reckoned with.

¡El segundo TexMex Showdown anual regresa a Cycle Ranch! El año pasado presenciamos batallas intensas en la pista, donde el talento de todo Texas y de todo México se enfrentó en nuestras instalaciones de primera. En 2023, al finalizar las carreras, los Texanos emergieron apenas 12 puntos por delante de los pilotos mexicanos.

El 2024 promete ser un espectáculo aún más grande, ¡con un premio en efectivo de $5000 en juego en este evento ProAm!

Este evento único reúne a pilotos de ambos lados de la frontera para competir por premios y derechos de alarde. Con una variedad de clases para todos los niveles de habilidad, hay un lugar para todos en el TexMex Showdown.

No solo tendrás la oportunidad de mostrar tus habilidades de conducción, sino que también experimentarás la emoción de competir contra pilotos de alto nivel tanto de Texas como de México. Esta es tu oportunidad de hacerte un nombre en el mundo del motocross y demostrar que eres una fuerza a tener en cuenta.

Friday Schedule:

  • Practice Hours: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Open Practice: 9:00 am - 10:00 am
  • Rotating Practice (Every 20 Minutes):
  • 10:00 am - Big Bike A/B
  • 10:20 am - Vets & Women
  • 10:40 am - Big Bike C/D
  • 11:00 am - 51cc & 65cc Beginner
  • 11:20 am - 65cc, 85cc & Super Mini
  • etc.
  • Open Practice 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm 

Saturday Schedule:

  • Practice Start Time: 7:45 am
  • Practice Duration: 4 laps
  • Practice 7:45 Order: 85cc, 65cc, 51cc (on the national track)

*Note: Stacycs and 50cc Limited/Ebike: Race on the Jr. Track with free practice until intermission (approximately 1:00 pm)

  • Riders Meeting: 9:15 am at the pavilion
  • Opening Ceremonies: 9:50 am (prayer and the national anthem)
  • Racing Start: 10:00 am
  • Race Order: Starting with 85cc open, Open D, and 51cc. Balance to be determined when race entries are finalized. 
  • Raffle, Awards & Photos: 5:00 pm in the pavilion
  • Pit Bike Races: Begin at 7:00 pm
